Directions:

  1. Sauté the Aromatics: In a large pot over medium-high heat, melt butter and add onion, sautéing until softened, about 2-3 minutes. Add garlic and sauté for another minute.
  2. Add the Broth and Veggies: Pour in chicken broth, heavy cream, broccoli, carrot, dry mustard, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  3. Simmer Until Tender: Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes, until the broccoli and carrots are tender.
  4. Add the Cheeses: Mix in cream cheese and cheddar cheese until melted.
