How to guide...

Starting position

Stand with feet shoulder-width, barbell over mid-foot, and grip wider than shoulder-width.

Execution

Lift the bar, catch it on your shoulders, press overhead, then lower and repeat.

Barbell Clean and Press

How to Do

  1. Setup: Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, grip the barbell just outside your knees, palms facing forward.
  2. Lift: Push through your heels to lift the bar while keeping your back straight.
  3. Catch: As the bar rises, drop under it and catch it on your shoulders in a squat position.
  4. Press: Stand up, then press the bar overhead, extending your arms fully.
  5. Lower: Bring the bar back down to your shoulders, then to the floor.
